Hey guys

I was taking a break from the shop and went to the Record Theatre to grab some music. My intentions was to grab some Jimmy Hendrix, whom I love! As I walked around I ended up in the hip hop section and looked through for a few minutes. I saw the iconic black & yellow Wu-Tang symbol and it brought it all back! Greatest hip hop group of all time! This is legendary music to all you youngsters out there!

 

 

After I spent $40 on some of the classic stuff, I returned home and a light bulb came on! Why not do Wu-Tang Clan figures!? So I then thought of Wu Chronicles album art that had monks in various stances, thought that would be cool.

 

Then I found the comic book from the late 90s,

 The 9 rings of Wu-Tang!

I had totally forgot about this. The comics weren't around very long and didn't make a whole lot of noise when they came out back then. Even now you can hardly find them anywhere besides eBay.

 

 

I decided to go with this version as my concept for figures. This way to exciting, I also decided to do these in a 6-8" size rather than my usual 4". This is Wu-Tang, go big or not at all!

I ordered 9 Marvel Legends figures for base figures and am awaiting their arrival. I plan to also do Cappadonna, Shyheim and Killah Preist for a total of 12 figures!
