Buffalo Comic-con 2016

BUFFALO COMIC-CON 2016!

This was my first year as an artist and it was a great experience! Emil liked my work and suggested I do the con so I came up with a few ideas. I met so many nice and interesting people and made good connections, networked with local artists and am working on future business endeavors.  Kezyah and I enjoyed the convention!

The Mod Podge comic frames and mirrors I made got a ton of compliments.  People were in awe! You can order any size frame, character or genre you like.

I did some super hero action figure lamps and they came out great. The lamps really stole the show!
They also can be ordered in any size, character or genre.  Email for pricing

Here are some marvel comic cards I put on coasters for the guys man caves! I made keep sake/ cigar box/ jewelry boxes for the ladies as well, it was hard selling them I liked them so much.

I needed a way to showcase my customs without spending a ton of money on a case. I was able to make a box from acrylic sheets, moldings, and lots of silicon! I added LED strip lights and it looked pretty good.  I brought 60 of my personal customs.  They couldn't believe they were custom fully articulated figures.  I do still have a few commission slots open!

A couple of the highlight moments from the Buffalo Comicon:  Got a couple of my comic books autographed and graded by Mike Zeck, Secret Wars illustrator. Thanks again to Stephen at CBCS for taking care of me. I met Ken Sagoes, actor from Nightmare on Elm Street part 3 and author of The Adventures of Nedu.  He was a really cool dude and we are going to work together on some charity work.  I met a couple of local artists too: Afro Avenger creator, Kevin Chapman and publisher and artist Will Rodriguez.  Special shout out to Grinder Jerseys and Shad Nowicki!  We at Toybox Laboratory had a great time, check out a few pics of the Cos play costumes and action.
